Public transport
Two trams stop at walking distance, line 16 in "De Lairessestraat" (stop Jacob Obrechtstraat) en line 2 at "De WillemsParkweg" (stop Cornelis Schuytstraat).
Both lines start at the Central Station.
Car
On the "Ringweg-Zuid" of Amsterdam (A10) take junction S108 Oud Zuid. At the end of the junction turn right to "De Amstelveense weg". After the Olympic Stadion at the trafic lights to the left (you stay on the "De Amstelveense weg"), at the first round about turn to the right (Cornelis Cruzemanstraat) . At the crossing with the Cornelis Schuytstraat (trafficlights) to the left en then the first one to the right .
Parking
If you want to park close by the best place to park your car is at "De Apollolaan" (nearby the Hilton). The rates are lower than in the "J. Verhulststraat" and you only have to pay till 21.00. See for rates Parkeren in Oud Zuid (in dutch).
The border is on the bridge of the "Cornelis Schuytstraat" (next to the Hilton).
It is 5 minuutjes walking. (passing Christies auction house), cross "De Laraissestraat" at the traffic lights, and then to the right in to the "Johan Verhulststraat nr. 74")
Park and Ride
The cheapest way is to park your car at a P+R and use public transport to go into town. For 6.00 euro's a day (you will receive to tickets for public transport) you can park you car for maximal 4 days. The closest P+R is at the Olympic stadion : Click here for more information.
